We will be out of the shop June 30th through July 11th. Any orders placed during that time will be shipped
as soon as possible upon our return. Thanks!
Unbalanced Engineering would like to congratulate the top 5 CMC finishers at the 2007 NASA Nationals!!
In addition to collecting the top 5 spots, competitors on our setups also lowered the qualifying and race lap records
at Mid Ohio by almost 2 seconds!! We would also like to congratulate the California, Texas, and Rocky Mountain regional champs
Nick Steel, Glenn Landrum and Cody Powell!
Unbalanced Engineering is committed to producing the highest quality Camaro components at
reasonable prices. We feel there is no better component on the market per dollar spent.
Below you will find some of our product offerings. Others are listed on the right.
De-coupled Torque Arm
Our de-coupled torque arm is the best of both worlds. Under acceleration it acts like a short beam thus increasing
anit-squat and therefore traction. Under braking the acceleration beam de-couples and a sliding brake link takes the load. Then
the torque arm acts almost twice as long as the stock torque arm to help eliminate rear wheel brake hop. Click on the image above
for a diagram of how it works.
We currently offer this arm for 1993-2002 F-bodies powdercoated in black. Cost $820
Penske Race Shocks
These Penske race shocks are top of the line true race shocks that are user rebuildable and
revalable. They are custom valved to our specs based on your class, and spring preference based on our extensive testing. They also allow significantly more travel than stock shocks and their aluminum bodies are much lighter than stock shocks as well.
We offer several versions of these shocks, including 7100, 8100, the new 8300 and 8760. These span the range from single adjustable to triple adjustable. Please email us for more information.
Bilstein Race Shocks
These Bilstein shocks are not the typical HD street Bilsteins but are true race shocks that are user rebuildable and
revalable. They are custom valved to our specs based on your class, and spring preference based on our extensive testing. They also allow significantly more travel than stock shocks and their steel and aluminum bodies are lighter than stock shocks as well.
We offer several versions of these shocks, including shocks that are mounted in the stock manner which makes them CMC and ESP legal! Click on the image above for more information.
Panhard Rod
Made from 1.25" DOM tubular steel with .120" walls, this unit allows adjustment
of the rear end to center the rear axle. It also removes compliance
associated with the stock panhard rod. The kit includes mounting hardware and 0.75" QA1 XR
series Teflon/Kevlar lined 0.75" chromemoly chromemoly rod ends.
Cost $155
Panhard Rod Relocation Brackets
Laser cut steel brackets that relocate the panhard rod to lower the rear roll center 4 inches
and also level it for lowered cars. These brackets result in additional rear grip in all phases of cornering. They require
a panhard rod that mounts via 1/2" bolts and and require a competant welder for installation.
Cost $165
Lower Control Arms
Made from tubular steel, these rod-ended units remove the compliance of
the stock lower control arms for more accurate rear suspension location.
They also will help reduce wheel hop under acceleration and braking. The kit includes
bushings for use with the stock bolts for mounting and QA1 XR series
Teflon/Kevlar lined 0.75" chromemoly rod ends.
Cost $295
4th Gen Rag Joint Eliminator (1993-1997)

Eliminates the factory rubber-fiber rag joint
which can degrade and introduce steering slop.
This is especially true on cars with the additional heat generated by headers.
The kit includes a CNC machined coupler made from 6061-T6 aluminum which is then anodized black for corrosion resistance, and four grade 8
fasteners. A set of detailed installation instructions is also included. Cost $36
3rd Gen Rag Joint Eliminator (1982-1992)

Eliminates the factory rubber-fiber rag joint
which can degrade and introduce steering slop.
This is especially true on cars with the additional heat generated by headers.
The kit includes a CNC machined coupler made from 6061-T6 aluminum which is then anodized black for corrosion resistance, and four grade 8
fasteners. A set of detailed installation instructions is also included. Cost $36
Unbalanced Engineering Tee Shirt

Products currently under development
Unbalanced Engineering's de-coupled torque arm is complete and is currently in production. Units are now ready to ship. This will assist with
acceleration traction (due to a shorter arm) without inducing wheel hop under braking. We are currently testing
a race version for cars that have a roll cage and modified floor pan.
We have elected not to release our new dual master cylinder kit since the setup required is substantially different depending on which caliper and pad combination is used. If you have
in interest in this product contact us and we may be able to offer it on a custom basis.
Our rag joint eliminator for the 3rd generation Camaros (1982-1992) is now shipping!
We now have Unbalanced Engineering tee shirts and hats available!
Payment
Our prefered method of payment is Paypal. We can also accept credit cards directly, if that is your desired method of payment, please contact us. If you use out Paypal shoping cart, paypal will add in the cost for shipping, and packaging. Thanks!
